I've been hoping this gets a CPC 5.2 as I stated earlier in this discussion. I wouldn't trade in the 350, but it would be damn cool to see.I wonder how Shelby owners would feel about this? Any of you out there?
confirmed, wheels are different. Mules are just that, lol. I had the chance to putz around with a mule from ford back in 2015 with a 2016 gt350 mule when i was in PIR for racing. I made several spots around Goodyear , Phoenix proper, avondale, surprise. The best was one guy told me I he hoped I didn’t paid for the wrap because it was a awful choice Ahahaha.Ideally.....Azure Blue from the '03/'04..........or Grabber Blue from the '70s.
I also hope (and expect) those PP2 wheels will change. I suspect they are just a placeholder.....although the size/offset will likely remain the same. Despite the PP2 wheels being my favourite stock S550 wheel, the Mach 1 needs something unique. I guess a black version would suffice, but I really hope its a unique wheel.
Either way, I'm looking forward to seeing and hearing more!
I sadly have to agree here. I usally try to understand how the lines should come together for the parts we see under camo, but the higher turn signal/fog lights - They just look strange up there. They bolt on so many shelby parts here, so I thought they might go for a blackout part around the turn signal unit like the GT500 did.The higher fogs looks dumb to me. I don't get why they would make that change.
From what we can see here, the Mach 1 really has a lot of Shelby and performance parts. Since it seems like the Mach 1 will sit above the PP2, It really wouldn't make much sense to still offer both a GT350 and a Mach 1. But honestly, I really hope the model will offer some unique parts besides wrapwork. Otherwise it kind of feels like they didn't really had something planned for the extended 6th gen model years and are now throwing parts together. It certainly seems the '20MY is the last for the GT350.
Reminds me of the 2000 Australian CobraI sadly have to agree here. The 5.2 FPC engine will unfortunately die with the GT350. It would be nice if Ford would use a n/a version of the GT500 engine.I really....REALLY would love it to have a n/a cpc 5.2. That's always been my ideal engine for this car. As you say, the '03/'04 Mach 1 was effectively a n/a Cobra engine. It's 4v quad cam setup pumped out 305hp against the GT's 2v 260hp, so it was quite a jump.
You mean FPC right? The 5.2 CPC engine will unfortunately die with the GT350. It would be nice if Ford would use a n/a version of the GT500 engine.
