PP1 was a must for me. Sucks to see them jumping the pricing but I’m not shocked. Everything goes up.

I spent the day looking at 2020 F-150’s yesterday and many of them are upwards of $60k. Which blows my mind. I paid $44k for mine in 2010.

I had a 13 F150 that stickered for 49,700, I paid 40,500 for in November 13 as a leftover. My current 18 explorer stickered for 53,210 and I got it for 44K four days before Christmas of 18. If you wait for the next years models to show up on the lots you can get a good deal on the leftovers

CPI adjusted 2010 $44k = $52k today.

If I’m not mistaking the PP1 was $3k on my 17
So $2200 increase. That a lot, like 70% more.
When I bought my car the package was quite a bargain. Not so much now
my 2017 GT PP1 price was $2495.00 list, $2285.00 at order. I did have an early order and noticed it went to $2995 by the end of order period dman

A year ago this coming June, I bought my 19 PP1/A10, and the sticker was just like the 2018, $3995, and the A10 at $1595.

This PP2 just went up for sale here ,around 6,000 miles, $45,000 CDN, approximately $32,000 in US funds. Seems like a good price. We’re about 50 miles from the Maine boarder, heh, heh.

Looks like the Recaro's I had in my base model 2014 GT TrackPak Mustang. Although it does have the front added split

ter and "GT350 Wheels", I'll bet its not a PP2 car. My 2019 although being a PP1, it's pretty easy to install a PP2 front splitter extension.

Most likely a PP2 car. Those aren't GT350 wheels. Those are the stock PP2 wheels.

This thread reminded me that Mustangs have gotten crazy expensive since I got my 2015. I bought one of the first GTs to hit the ground in Oct 2014. I got a discount but not a smoking deal... the car stickered at $37k and I paid $35k. It was a base GT with PP and Recaros. The PP was $2500 and the Recaros were $1500. The new ones cost so much and with the new options it’s easy to hit $45k+ on them. I used to think the GT350s were crazy expensive but I guess they aren’t too bad considering how much the GTs cost these days.

Damn, I think the Performance pack was $2495 when the S550 first came out. What a bargain that was.
$2300 is the number that I remember. But that may have been the invoice price.

Some of that increase is due to better tires, that are a lot more expensive. The 15-17 PP1's came with cheap garbage pirellis, the 18+ got much better Michelin PS4's

Compare the price of a set of Pirelli PZeros and Michelin PS4's, now discount for the OEM wholesale cost. It is nowhere near the $1000+bump in the price of the package from 2017 to 2018.

Now another $1000+ price increase with zero change in equipment.
Makes the 1LE package look like a screaming deal.
