Damn, I think the Performance pack was $2495 when the S550 first came out. What a bargain that was.
This.

I have owned an 18 pp1 car for almost 2 years and over 10k miles. Well worth the upgrade imo on S550. Once you negotiate a discount off the car you not paying full pop on that PP upgrade. Although that is a big price increase on later 2020 models.

it was $5000 Canadian back in 2016 when I ordered mine. Passed and bought PP accessories I wanted on the side for cheaper.
My window sticker for a '16 says $3700 Cdn for PP1. I paid $35K Canadian for the car. Which is what Heritage was selling off their '20 PP1's for this year.

Dayum. If it was $3700 I would of bought it. I paid $39,500 Out the Door from Freeway Ford in Scarborough.
Only option I paid for was 3:55 gears $500.

Here is the window sticker on my 2015, $3700 CDN which is $2950 US in today’s exchange rates.
I just went on Ford.ca and if you “build it” the MSRP is $4200 CDN which equates to $2950 US for the PP1 option.
Go figure!!!

I guess the PP2 might be popular in the next few months ;)

The PP was $2495 on my '16. A huge bang for the buck and totally worth it.

The price difference between the P Zeros and the PS4s for a set of four is $221 from TireRack, so that alone doesn't account for squat of the price increase. I feel they didn't realize what all they were practically giving away and finally corrected the situation.

I wonder how much additional money you would get on a trade in having the PP1 option?
I would guess not much, but might get quite a bit on a private sale from someone looking for that option.

I paid right @ $34.6 brand new 18 GT off a $41.6 list. This pp package cost me about $3300. No way I could duplicate the parts $ buying separately from Ford.

Jeez, sticker price for the performance package was $2500 on my 2015 and I paid less than that. Ford is really going out of its way to rip off enthusiasts.

Weird. PP2 stays at $6,500, so PP1 w/ Magneride is more expensive than PP2 (which includes Magneride).
This is a textbook example of pricing in a way that consumers choose the higher cost option because it looks like a better deal.

Kinda like how movie theaters will have a small popcorn for $6, a medium for $12 and a large for $14. The large costs the theater almost the same as the medium, but they’ve managed to squeeze an extra two bucks out of you.

Some drivers, like me, would not even consider a non PP Mustang
