They should have just put the grille in front of the bumper structure.
I was thinking exactly the same thing. Or an integrated grill-bumper the way Audi does it. Wouldn't be that hard to do.

To me, the looks are fitting. It's not meant to have the refined, clean cut look of the GT350, because that's not the kind of car its going to be. Its going to be a flat out monster and that's exactly what it looks like. Also getting a bit of an 80s IMSA GT car vibe from it.

The headlight is 15-17 mixed with 18 styling right? Or is the the 15-17 style, I can't tell.

I just think its kind of funny that Ford also thinks there front end design on the 18's are awful. I mean they literally back tracked for the flagship mustang, that should tell you something

You have to move a lot of air through that thing. Any better ideas?
My thoughts exactly...
I’d rather have a larger grill opening than say, some hideous hood scoop.

The grill opening looks well defined, but I think the lack of any clear bumper, grill and intake details presented was intentional...
This is a teaser...to keep us all guessing.
Adding some color to this image may provide some depth and perspective.

I like it so far....very aggressive look. Plus i like that Ford is taking a chance by not just adding a hood scoop and some body kit. This car looks like form and function. I'm really curious what the side profile will look like. Anybody have a photoshop idea of what that may look like?

I like it too finally going in a modern futuristic direction. It’s going to look hot.

The only problem will be using old outdated headlights.

Would be great to see the grill mesh in front of the bumper as well. Or at least the bumper cover stamped to look like a continuous grill.
My graphic friend said, this pic is absolutely a rendered pic that looks like it was hand render over wire-frame. I think Ford also wants to keep some of the old look into this car to keep the passion going. As long as thos lights are LED, I can live with shape of it.

If they pulled some carbon fiber trick out of their hat and this car weighs less than 3800lbs, the desirability will be off-the-charts.

Thank God they didn't

There are people claiming that it will be over 4100lb for the base GT500.
