To me, the looks are fitting. It's not meant to have the refined, clean cut look of the GT350, because that's not the kind of car its going to be. Its going to be a flat out monster and that's exactly what it looks like. Also getting a bit of an 80s IMSA GT car vibe from it.

ME Vette AND the next Z/28. No doubts the GT500 will be awesome, but I also have no doubt it'll be overshadowed by those two cars.

Interesting. A 5.0 on 12lbs from a blower lands around 700 crank.. No doubt the GT500 is running much lower compression though. Still makes me feel like there's going to be a LOT of power left on the table. Pulley change and new tune will easily have it knocking on the door of 800.

I agree here. Probably rushed it out to try to clear the massive stink of the electric SUV Mach 1. :barf: Interested to see some real specs and such on this car though.

Hey I didn't say I wanted that! Its much preferable to a damn SUV though, isn't it? I was just saying if they're going to pull stupid crap with names like that, I'd be able to take that much better.. I do think its very likely we will see an Ecoboost V6 Mustang by the early 2020s though..

Something like that would be totally awesome and would show that Ford is looking to the future, but it still better not be called a Mach 1. If they HAVE to compromise the Mach 1 name, at least do it in the same manner as the GT and put an Ecoboost V6 in a Mustang. My ideal vision of a Mach 1...
