Ford has put itself in a dilemma.

It’s definitely not a GT350.

What dilemma? The GT350 will be phased out sooner than later. The fact that we have had it as long as we have is a bonus as they fill the gap till the GT500 hits. It would be cool to see them continue to offer both a la Porsche with the GT3 and GT3RS, but I don’t think we will.

Just hope the GT500 can spend the time on the track the same way. If it can, it will be huge. If not, it will still be a badass GT car.

Not a perfect comparison angle, but as you can see, the GT500 front fenders appear to be significantly wider than the GT350.

I hear ya I was invited to a GT 350 track day in the Poconos on Ford‘s dime, and everybody there from the factory explained that the flat plane crank motor will not be put in any other vehicles due to the cost of Minimizing the vibrations, didn’t seem like they wanted to make anymore Motors for any other car.....they are very limited as is I could be wrong but I never saw a GT 350 produced in the same year as a GT500.. unless Ford changes its policy ( it could happen anything possible )
