Hey I’m still here. Agreed...shifter sublime. Clutch not so much. Here’s where I have the real issue. I had to keep the revs up pretty high to get some juice. While that’s OK, what that briought with it was a cacauphony of grating mechanical engine noise competing with the road noise to see...
Yes they have. And I find them overrated. The clutch engages way too high and it’s not really that fun to drive. It’s just a noisemaker with low torque. I don’t find them fun. I know I’m in the minority so I’m just going to duck for cover now.
Jokes aside, I recently spent a weekend flogging miatas and a fiat 124. Fun, fun, fun. The <2500 lbs makes a huge difference. I am a convert now and will have one in my garage to complement a high horsepower monster like the GT500 or Redeye.
These kinds of reactions from insiders have me calling BS on the leaked report. I wish you could tell us the real specs but I guess we’ll have to wait.
I read it that beginning in 2020 the show will move to June. So that leaves the 2019 show being held in January as usual. It could be canceled but I don't think they'd go that long without a show.
Will we have traditional silver wheels as an option or will the gt500 come like the gt350 in that we can have any color we want as long as it’s black:D. Insiders?
Stupid question about tuning. Since the PP 2 is essentially a canned tune from Ford Racing, how does one take advantage of other bolt-ons such as an intake, LTs, and a good exhaust? Don’t those mods require further tuning to get the best out of them?
That of course was an assumption by most here, including me, because we took it to heart that the GT350 would end after after it’s 2 yr designation by Ford to be followed by the GT500. With that as our expectation, it is 2 years overdue. Of course speculation followed that there were design...
Now I’m getting excited all over again :headbang:
The delay has one benefit in that I’ll have a ton of savings to throw at it when it finally hits dealers :headbonk:
