My car has recently developed some clunks after 90k miles on the stock suspension. I was looking at the Ford Performance track kit, but it seems like it’s always on back order. It’s a daily, but I am looking into slowly upgrading the car. I do want to eliminate the body roll in curves. My previous Mustang was a 2006, so all of these IRS components are very foreign to me. So far, the first real “mod” was the Ford Performance GT350R strut and cowl brace — that has helped stiffen up the front a lot! I did find the cowl extension thread and just ordered those parts, so it’s time to take all that apart again. I also swapped to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 275/40/zr19 tires, and that has made a huge difference.

I would see if you can get the Ford Performance track dampers separately and maybe go with Steeda springs and their stop the hop kit. (Or the BMR cradle lockout kit.)

I have the ford performance track shocks and struts with the ford performance street lowering springs and I love the way it sits and rides. I think that is exactly how the pp1 mustangs should have come from the factory. I didnt want the track springs and track sway bar because I felt the car would be to stiff thats why I kept the pp1 sway bar and got the street lowering springs. I got my shocks and struts threw benny at levittown ford he is always on here and he found it for me when everyone else said out of stock.

Dont get me wrong im sure steeda makes great stuff also every other part on my car is steeda ( literally) I have the stop the hop kit, a bunch of steeda parts for my mt82, a few more parts to stiffen up the irs and I couldn't be happier with everything I've gotten from steeda, best of luck

FYI sway bars didn't make my car 'too stiff'. Or any stiffer at all. The change in cornering is dramatic though (in a good way). Do them!
