I got a question, sorry to bother you. I installed everything as instructed, including the 4th bolt as well. It was fine for a week, then I started hearing creaking sounds from the right side, so I checked, everything was tight & from what I could see correctly installed. I loosened everything & tightened it all up again. Fine a few days, then the same again. I've re-done this 3 x times now, & even moved the car off the drive, moved it back & forth, left & right to try & settle it again before tightening everything up again. It was fine again for a few days, but I'm hearing a creaking once again. Any idea's what could be happening? I really don't understand? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you think it's the extension, maybe take it out for a week or two and make sure that's what it is? If it's tight each time you've gone back to it, then I don't know how loosening/retightening it would help like you say it has. Weird. If you said they were loosening, then I'd say blue thread lock them. But I can't see why you would need to do that.

Thanks for your reply. I've used the blue thread lock but as they always seem tight. It's not easy for me to keep trying to this, I'm not as young as I used to be & really struggling so I don't want to remove it again. I even wondered if mine has the extension already, I can't really tell, but I don't think it does. It was so difficult trying to position it & start the bolts in the holes without dropping any. I'll take one more look & then have to give up & remove it all I guess.
