What did your tuner say? What issue are you having with the wide ban oxygen sensors?

we are going to go ahead and replace them i havent gotten a message back yet from them its late lol from what i can see its reading super weird. the afr reading will freeze for a few seconds then start working again. some days itll run normal 13.8-14.1 (at idle) and itll adjust normally when driving. some days itll run stupid rich around 9 at idle and 12 max normal driving. never goes lean which is good. but recently for example youll see it at 13.8 and itll freeze at that for a long time and then itll instantly show 11 and work for a minute then freeze again and instantly show a different reading. you never see it fluctuate up or down continuously like it normal should. i was either thinking sensors or the extensions. visual inspection under the car, shows no wear or anything out of the normal i didnt take them out tho. i did send logs over to them so hope itll help more and get an answer in the morning. just getting in here to see if anybodys had this experience and what sensors helped them. unfortunately i HAVE to stay emission compliant :(

Can I give a little advice, email wengerd and tell him what's going on and what he thinks. It's well worth the money. These other clowns seem to run cookie cutter boiler tunes. I just installed a Whipple Stage 2 and my AFR was going all over the place. He said what I was seeing was normal. All of my data logs were great. I removed the AFR gauge from my cluster. Good luck

i will take that into consideration! i may have left out some key details. i am throwing a code for both upstream sensors and when it really runs rich randomly, u can definitely smell it.

alas, i will do some more digging.

I mean you have codes saying there are O2 issues. You’re on the right path, swap them out first and go from there. 👍

I had Kooks high flow "non green" cats fail on me running the stock whipple tune calibration.
Which brand cats do you have? Kooks and and I believe Stainless offer GESI catted options which are the ones you would need to run with boost (in addition to cat protection turned on within tune).

OEM cats failed within 2k miles and Kooks within 700. I'm suspecting your cats might be getting clogged up. Did you notice any eggy/sulfur smells yet as that's a sign of failure.

Since you're getting codes, id swap them out. Other than that, the AFR is going to move around depending on what you're doing at that point in time. A log would be much better to determine if anything seems weird rather than the wonky gauge on the dash.

i dont remember what brand cats they were. they definitely were not gesi. they are really small in comparison to stock and the only smell i get is just alot of exhaust fumes or just a crap ton of fuel
