2019 Roush removal after wreck

I am in need of parts to remove a Roush phase 2 supercharger kit on my 2019 mustang gt. I was T boned at an intersection and my car is a total loss so id like to get an intake to put car back stock. I bought with supercharger already installed. I have factory parts for everything else. Anyone got any parts or advice? I have the installation instructions i can figure out the removal i just need parts to keep it a running car.

Glad you are ok, sorry about your car.

If you have the instruction/installation manual it should tell you everything you need. Everything it says to remove/modify to install/replace with the Roush parts, you will need.

Basically go through the install manual in reverse to be able to identify and list all the parts you need to return, so you can source them before tearing it down.

You'll also need a way to flash the stock tune back.

You will have to figure out flashing a stock tune, if you dont have a tuning device you may have to get one unfortunately. For the intake manifold I would look for a used intake manifold try here, ebay, or parts farm they have tons of used stuff cheap. Then just take your time with everything. I actually have everything that was stock in the garage that was removed when they installed the roush supercharger. Located in NY.

You can't just buy the car back for scrap, take off the parts, and then actually scrap it?

I'm not sure why you are worried about restoring the engine to stock running condition. Does your insurance company expect it in running condition? How long do you expect to have access to it? The car will end up going to an auction somewhere and likely end up in a scrap yard somewhere. Pull off what you want, bolt on the stock parts you can get quickly and be done.

I’ll have the car 4-5 weeks while disputing their appraisal. I bought the car with the Roush kit installed so I do not have the stock parts. I’m in need of I’m guessing a stock intake with injectors and airbox.

You are very fortunate not to have been injured. Sorry for all of this. My 16 gt vert was totaled in wylie . Wife was banged up a little with a massive front end hit. I was not allowed to remove any attached parts at the wrecking yard in Lavon. Hope your claim works out for you.

Luckily I own the car and have a garage so after initial tow I had it brought to my house. I’m disputing their payout and have some time to get all my parts. I am lucky it was not worse. Never saw or heard the lady. She went around 2 stopped cars and I never saw it coming.

I mentioned my current 16 gt but it was my 15 gt 50th anniversary that was totaled.

I recommend taking the supercharger off unless you paid extra to insure it. I have not heard of an insurance company that will pay for no factory parts. If I misunderstood this and it's a factory roush that is different. Sometimes if you take it home and change it to the factory intake most insurance ajusters won't know the difference because they mess with a big variety of cars and don't know all the specifics in different car classifications. You might have some bad carma but you will be supercharged. A example of this is the old Hertz gt350h rent a racer cars that were rented and the engine exchanged.

My evaluation document shows no aftermarket parts in appraisal so my appraiser told me to remove everything for my next car while he fights for more money. Had just got the car the way I wanted and only had 24k miles.
