The car has CAI and Steeda Bullitt tune. I want to keep the car NA. I want the car louder, but not to make my ears bleed. My question: Is the sound and HP gain of LTH’s worth the $? Or do I just go with a resonator delete like the switch fire and call it a day? Also, would I have to modify the tune if I add LTH’s?
Sound clips of a Bullitt with LTH’s would be great if you have them.
FYI…
I am keeping the active exhaust and Bullitt mufflers because I love the sound.

I do like the sound of my LTHs a lot. I did have my car tuned after I installed them, but bear in mind I was also tuning for nitrous and E85 at the time.

May be a dumb question but are you looking for sound or horsepower? Long tubes aren’t cheap but I did gain 25hp and 40ft-lbs of torque with them and a tune

Unless you are going FI, or wanting your car LOUD, like obnoxious loud I wouldn't. Just a res delete gives a fair amount of volume. I did headers on my previous GT and within a week, I regretted it. Coupled with a Borla S type cat back it was WAY too much for me. Then I chased resonators and all trying to tame it down. I traded that car and got my Mach 1. Did a Borla Switchfire and am really pleased with it. Don't want any more :) As for a tune, as long as the headers are catted and retain the primary and secondary O2 sensors, tune is usually not required.

Both! Of course. 😂 But still waiting it out. I’ve been on and off about getting into a GT350. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yes, I’ve had cat backs and res deletes on previous Mustangs that sounded great. The Bullitt and Mach mufflers have a very unique tone and sound. I haven’t heard the borla switch fire yet, if anyone has sound videos…?.

Put the long tubes on and make that Bullitt bark. If you want to maintain control over the sound, you’ll need to keep the AE intact though. I ran like that for a few years and then switched to the Steeda axle back and it got even louder, but not loud enough to where it’s difficult to hold a conversation with my passengers.

Sounds pretty mean. Any drive by videos?

It's going to be a personal preference unless you want the sound only or sound and power. Depending on the header design, tube thickness, spike and the collector, it can help with different power ranges on the car. And this goes with hp and trq. If you planned on boosting it, then 100% do headers. If you don't care for a CEL, offroad is the way to go. If you do, the GREEN cats from KOOKs or a GESI cat is recommended as they are EPA compliant and boost friendlier.

If you just want a little more sound, the double H pipe from Corsa with the stock exhaust sounds awesome. Louder but with a deeper tone.

Regardless though, if we can help on any direction, please let me know.
