Serious question. How sensitive is the tune to changes in engine compression?
If I change the pistons and rods and end up at 11.6 instead of 12?

Will Whipple consider a “Stage X” program where we can get a turnkey built motor and tune w our Whipple?

Kits will be available in March. HP vs Stage will be released shortly as were still testing all the combos.

There is an optional 3/36,000 comparable to Roush. Although Ford Performance and Roush stated the warranty was included, this is not actually the case, you still have to purchase the $995 Roush supplemental warranty.

New warranty will be done tomorrow, 3/36,000 mile, engine/trans (no rear end, half shafts). MSRP $795. Has to be installed by Whipple dealer, Ford dealer or shop with ASE certified mechanic. Factory service intervals required.

Oh good, and when will the units begin to ship for the 2018 mustang? My performance shop, which is a large shop in the Southeast, and basically installs nothing but whipples, said they spoke to Whipple yesterday and pre-orders aren't being taken yet. When can this begin to happen? Any updates you can give would be great for those of us out here waiting to drop some coin on the blower . Thanks!

Were going to start taking orders on monday, April 9th and will have final info as well. Thank you for being patient.

First shipments will actually be next week for some of our partners. Retail orders will go out the week of April 30th if orders are placed next week until that batch is gone, and so on.

Competition based kits may be available 1 week earlier, but many things can change this.

I don't know if Lethal has installed their kit but I have not seen any numbers .

If the drag racing(test and tune )is going to void the warranty I might skip it .
