Getting ready to do this on my 2018 in prep for boost.

the 2016 was relatively easy and i'm thinking the 2018 will be the same just a few questions to make this go faster once i'm in there.

1.) Do I have to pull the intake manifold off to pull the HPFP supply line to the injectors? (intake manifold could stay on in my 16)
2.) Is anyone replacing the HPFP supply line after removal? ford manual says to throw out and replace with a new line.

3.) Anyone figure out what balancer puller works best? I see that everyone has had trouble with the size of the jaws not fitting the new balancer. ****Edit**** great thread for this question in the bolt ons section https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/harmonic-balancer-removal.111150/

After just removing my manifold and doing OPG’s and CS I would say that yes you will have to remove the manifold to get at the supply line fitting to the injectors. I didn’t fully take off the supply line and the bracket that holds it behind the cylinder head since I do have intentions of reusing it. I simply loosened it from the DI pump and the Fitting under the manifold and rotated it back towards the firewall hanging in the bracket it rests in. Was more than enough room to take off the valve covers without it being in the way. I can however place the manifold back on to confirm tomorrow for sure if you need to take the manifold off to get the line loose. Here is a pic from battery tray location and another of how I left it hanging.
