2018 Mustang GT MT-82 Fluid

Hello all,

I'm wanting to change the fluid on my Mustang; however, I've been having a hard time figuring out exactly which fluid works "best" and just wanted some feedback.

Amsol is another option people talk a lot about, for me so far good results over stock fluid

I used BG Syncromesh before, but I used MT82 XL 18 from motorcraft additive and im surprised with the difference it made! Just as good as BG if not better!

I ended up going with the kit from Opmustang using the BG Syncroshift II.

If anyone is curious. I wouldn't say my transmission feels better than ever, however; it does shift much smoother with lower amounts of noise. Lockout from 1-2 and 2-3 still occurs every so often closer to redline, just less frequently.

I went with Motul DCTF for the MT-82, and Motul 300LS for the diff.

So far so good. Better than the OEM fluid.
