Last year, I changed out the OEM fluid for Royal Purple Synchromax. My main concern was a little notchiness and nibbles when going 1-2, but mostly noticable going 2-3. Although I think it's somewhat better, the issues are still present. Is another fluid switch gonna help, or should I just assume this is just the nature of the transmission I got. I can certainly live with it as is, but if there's a possibility it could be better, I'd probably give it a shot.

P.S. 2018 Ecoboost with 9,100 miles. Also just installed a Steeda Tri-Ax Race shifter. The notchiness and nibbles aren't as obvious with this shifter, but it doesn't completely cover them up.

Motul Multi-DCTF and don’t look back.
Don’t use any additives.
Remove the Royal Purple ASAP, it’s hard on the bronze components.
That's what I did - actually I followed your advice from another thread.

OP - while your'e at it, Pull out the old CC and upgrade your clutch and get an MGW shifter. Then, you'll be driving a new car.

This. The trans doesn't magically transform but it feels way better

I'm gonna try the fluid change. Pretty satisfied, at least initially, with the Steeda shifter. Can't see me messing with upgrading the clutch until I have a real reason to do so...
