I've been thinking on switching to a flex e85 tune from Lund, but I'm kind of iffy with Arizona E85. I live a bit far away from most E85 pumps, and this is my daily driver for now.
Can anyone in Arizona shed some light on their E85 experiences here in AZ? Or information on Lund's flex fuel tune?
I was pretty lucky too having the dealer uphold my warranty with basic mods too. Only downside is that I've been waiting on a new transmission since about November 11th.
Thank you! I definitely love it.
The thickness is pretty nice, overall I like it better than the thinner feeling steering wheels. I just don’t like the hand position for the 10 and 3 positions. It’s not round and awkwardly squared off.
I just recently lost 2nd gear, and 1st gear is definitely about to go, car is at about 33,000 miles. I'm taking my car into the dealership this Tuesday, guessing it's the forks, but who knows.
For anyone that has taken their car in. Did the new shift forks eliminate any lock out issues? Did...
Little follow up, gents.
Ended up getting a Steeda H-pipe and Steeda axle-back. So far I'm really liking the combo.
If I get tired of this setup, I do have some Vibrant 1792s I might weld on to my H-pipe and go back to the MBRP axle-backs.
Thanks all for the recommendations!
I've heard so many good things about the Roush axle-backs with a X or H-pipe, I might have to look into that. I've done some reading through the forum, I might shoot for some bullet style resonators (similar to the AWE Track setup). Depending how that goes, I'll try out some other ideas I hear...
Yeah, I'd say raspy technically. Maybe I just wasn't expecting THAT much rasp hahah. Definitely when I had just the muffler delete, it was best of both worlds. Not too raspy, but also a decent amount of volume. I'll have to look into what you have. Thank you!
Yeah, it's hard to find a good compromise. I'm tempted to just head to an exhaust shop and see what they can Frankenstein, see how it sounds. If I don't like it, back to the suitcase and deal
That's how I feel my car is now. Anything over 3k rpm, the car sounds almost "ricey" if that's even...
Hi all,
I've been trying to fine tune the sound of my 2018 GT, and I can't quite seem to find what I like the most. I started with simple MBRP axle-backs with my stock resonators. Loved it, but wanted a hair more growl and "deepness" in the exhaust, so I went with an H-pipe, and now my car is...
Thank you both for the recommendations!
I ended up going with the kit from Opmustang using the BG Syncroshift II.
If anyone is curious. I wouldn't say my transmission feels better than ever, however; it does shift much smoother with lower amounts of noise. Lockout from 1-2 and 2-3 still occurs...
Hello all,
I'm wanting to change the fluid on my Mustang; however, I've been having a hard time figuring out exactly which fluid works "best" and just wanted some feedback.
Thanks in advance!
Thank you all so much for the replies! I'm going to go ahead and pull the trigger on a new steering wheel, before I do however; does anyone know of any discount codes we could use anywhere?
I'm going to go into Ford tomorrow and talk to their parts department, if they have a return policy (or any extra information) I'll end up purchasing it, and I'll do a follow up post.
