2 weeks with my 2018 (PP1 A10 Mag-Ride) and love the car. I'm not a fan of the vents in the hood when washing the vehicle. They collect water and even after raising the hood, using a leaf blower, there water left in them that end up dripping down the hood. Anyone else notice this (I have the Royal Crimson color so that's part of the reason I notice this). I'm think about design some temporary covers so I'm wondering if there's anyone that have noticed this minor problem.

The vents definitely hold some water. I usually blow them out with my air compressor along with all the other nooks and crannies to avoid "the drips" later.

ROUSH makes aftermarket hood vent covers for the 2018-19. Although I don’t think using those is going to remedy the concern.

MMD is coming out with a reverse scoop type style replacements soon too. don't think it will help the water problem either, but it will be another option

Yes...it's a little unnerving to know there is water sitting in there, especially as often as I wash this car. Not sure how this happened, but I had semi-permanent hard water trails down my hood that I had to buff out, as if someone at the dealership had raised the hood every time it got wet, let them drip, but never dried the trails.

I kinda wish they'd left the hood vents to the GT guys in '18.

My stang is black. So, it's annoying to say the least. :frusty: I found that using an absorbent microfiber towel over the top of the honeycomb designed vents help minimize the water trials.
