vents. It's kills the whole vibe when people put big ass hood scoops like this is 69 muscle car.

also, cowl hoods look like complete sh1t on this car and ruin any design flow the original design intended

Hood Scoop vs Hood Vents makes no sense..

They each have a different function.

You dont like it. These arent the droids youre looking for.

Their is no point adding a scoop when the entire front of the engine bay is one giant open scoop filling the front end full of positive pressure and causing front end lift. We need air pushed up and out.

Form without functionality just feels so fake and makes me sad to look at.

I prefer vents however, those NASCA hood scoops (Mach 1) were awesome.
I like the NASA scoops of the early 70's Mustangs, though only if they were the ones that were actually functional. They seem to complement the overall design of that era.

I personally like vents a little better. I have the Scott Drake vents on mine that I did some changes to, and painted the same color as the car. I cut out some of the hood under the vents with an electric nibbler/shears, allowing a much bigger vent opening.

I think this is generally personal preference. For me, I prefer to avoid non-functional, or even when "functional" but the actual purpose isn't effective, scoops, vents, fascia, etc...

Thank you all for your comments. It's surprising to see (currently) a 80/20 split in favor of vents, especially when you consider how many aftermarket bolt-on scoops that are sold.

The hood vent is tiny, and I don't think the fender vents do anything.
I believe the fender vents reduce air pressure in the wheel area or aid in brake cooling. There are vents in the wheel well liner that lead out to the fender vents
