Hello, I'm very new to the Mustang world and randomly came across a 2018 Mustang GT350R for what I believe is a great deal. It has a clean title (I'd be doing a PPI just incase), 8k miles, and has had 2 owners. The price is $59K + tax which should be ~$66K OTD (argg Seattle taxes...). It looks to have the electronics package as it has a radio and A/C. No modifications and the CF wheels are still on the car. The color is white with the blue stripes.

Given that there aren't any issues, is my assumption of this being a good deal correct? Thanks!

Carfax clean? No reported accidents? Price is low for that kind of mileage, agree with Charlie that an 18 R with 8k miles would be low to mid $70’s all day long. PPI is a good call, make sure they bring a paint depth gauge to check for respray or body repairs. If it checks out, that’s a heck of a deal but I’m always skeptical of deals on R’s. Most people know what they have and they generally don’t go for below market unless there’s an issue, either disclosed or undisclosed.

Thanks for the replies! It's actually being sold through CarMax. I believe this is a price mistake because they're selling GT350s with more miles for around the same price.

https://www.carmax.com/car/26841583

The only downside is that it has had 2 owners but given that the car is 7 years old now, it isn't that much of a red flag to me.

I didn't have any plans of purchasing a new-to-me car since I work from home but at this price, I think I'm going to have to bite. Should be quite the upgrade from my 2010 GTI :giggle:.

Price sounds too good to be true. As previously stated, this car should retail minimally $65-$70,000.

This doesn't pass the eye test. Car should be in the 70K range at a minimum IMO. Have you called them?

The Autocheck checks out, but not all accident repairs are reported. It does look super clean from the pictures though. OP, did you put a deposit down because it says it’s not available anymore?

On paper this sounds like a very good deal.

What kind of provenance comes with this vehicle such as original bill of sale, window sticker, GT350R Owners Kit, maintenance receipts/records and does it come with an OEM GT350R car cover?

Have you checked out the condition of the front chin spoiler as many of them got marked up a great deal and are not in great shape due to some careless driving?

With only ~35 OEM R model front chin spoilers remaining in Ford's 3 DC's in the U.S. and if this one is messed up, I encourage you order one as soon as possible if you go forward with the transaction.

Good luck!

Either OP bought it, or after he posted the link to it, someone else jumped in front and stole it out from under him…
