LMFAO how is a bad a ideal to have a 2018 GT350 ?

It's a bad idea because nothing on the car is improving and the competition has stepped it up. The 1Le hangs with the GT350 and the v6 1Le runs with the gtpp. Ford needs to step up the game. That's why I say it's a bad idea. The GT350 is a awesome car and I love mine, but it's going to become dated real fast. If the 2018 gt350 had a better trans or power increase that would be good, but paint colors do not add performance.
The ONLY reason why fords keeping the GT350 for 2018 is because of the GT4 and FR350S.

Any news on what the Lead Foot Gray that is replacing Avalanche Gray will look like? I'm assuming its the same color that was shown on the Gt4...but I haven't heard any confirmation.

The GT4 was painted Stealth Grey.....same colour as the Focus RS.

That is the only color i would have wanted more than Avalanche Gray. Not enough to trade it in and take the loss on value but the thought of a one year only color like this exclusive to the shelby is very tempting

There may be no changes to the 2018 GT350 , but there could be options added later.

I disagree, it has one thing that no other car in the market has and that is the snarling FPC V8. These cars are so damn fast now its not like mere mortals will ever reach the true limits of the car, so many buyers are looking past magazine lap times and more about over-all enjoyment. Look at the current trend with p-car guys, even though the latest 911s are the fastest porsche has ever built, many are gravitating back to the 993 and now even 997 model cars now.

Seems clear that the 18 refresh is just the GT350 bodywork (windshield forward, mostly)

It happened in 2013/14 GT got the GT500 bits.

It s the only way all this new info makes sense.

I don't think they can make that change due to pedestrian safety rules in Europe. There could be some styling cues that make the other Mustangs look more like a GT350, but I don't think they can lower the hood as close to the engine as it is on the GT350.

Very valid point. That's why i think changes will be kept to a minimum but hopefully the Coyote get a decent HP bump to at the very least match the Camero's 450 HP.

Euro Stangs use an "active" hood that pops up (from the base of the windshield) in order to pass the Euro Pedestrian impact laws. If that could be applied to GT350, there's no reason it couldn't be sold in Europe.

But, with the US buying every single GT350 made, there's no incentive for Ford to sell the GT350 abroad :(

Why would Ford cammo the MY18 if its just the GT350 bodywork? Nothing to hide. We see this movie.

As much as I love the FPC, it's not enough to keep the competition away. Let's be real here. If the FPC was that great ford would continue to use it in the GT4 and FR350S. And to add to your comments, as much as I hate to admit it. Magazine articles sell cars. Like it or not it's true. HP isn't the winner in a race. I agree, but everything else counts.

Do we know for sure these 2 cars do NOT use the FPC 5.2? I was wondering that and googled it. Seen conflicting info, but most suggest FPC. I wondered if they switched to the CPC 5.2, that this might be the UAW contract Voodoo "update". If they, in fact, switched to CPC, then they would be keeping their word that no other vehicle got the FPC and they could drop the GT350 due to homologation requirements to be based on an available production car. :shrug:
