Is there anything I need to know when installing the new IAT2 sensor for an aftermarket tune? The gen3 guys complain the sensor that comes with the kit breaks off when trying to remove it...

Go easy removing it, it's plastic. If it breaks, you will need to drill it out.

I removed my plastic sensor from my Edelbrock 2650 kit, same problem: It seized up about halfway out. I was afraid I would snap it, and I tried MANY methods to get it out including heat, chemical, etc.. The only thing that worked was using brake cleaner in small doses to eat/lubricate the threadlocker that comes with the sensor as I went. Spray a little on the thread right at the manifold, give it a second, wipe, rotate a few degrees, repeat. It will take MANY repeats. Just take it slow and use a small wrench so you don't accidentally over-torque. Also, don't use an angled box-end because it will be too easy to add shearing force. Good luck!

Where is the piece you have to remove on a 2018 Whipple? I can’t find it

Does anyone have a picture of this? I'm having trouble finding any sensor on the Whipple 3.0L G5, it makes me wonder if it's not installed, but I'm not sure where to install the VMP sensor I have.

From the install manual. I'm curious how doable this is with the blower on the car? It's a pretty tight spot... I may need to swap mine out some day.
