2018 front bumper corner Honeycombs removal?

That bumper looks cool but that's not by air designs that's by duraflex and it is definitely not stock fit& finish. hate to say it .. stay away from there products..I'll look to my invoices you can get thoes heat exchangers pre-painted as well..will match your grills nicely!

Its a neat design though.

Can you snap a picture of the holes and the opening? I have a 19 and they are closed holes.

Is yours a non-PP S550?

IIRC, only the GT and EB models that were optioned with the Performance Package came with functional lower corner vents to extract cool air over the front brakes.

My gt is not the performance pack ..just the black accent package it was a early model 19 that was made in August 2018

Mine is 2018 PP2 and they’re sealed. I really don’t understand their logic building these sometimes.

Look into your front wheel wells - forward of each front tire. Do you see any vented opening in the wheel well liner (it would be lower portion and facing the front of the front tire)? If so, that is where the air would be pushed in from the lower bumper vent pictured in this thread.

If you do have the opening in the wheel well liner, someone installed the wrong vent into the bumper cover during assembly.

I have a 2018 PP1, the vents are sealed as well. I had the bumper cover off and I can't even remove them as they are blocked in by the fog light mounting bracket. Which is plastic welded to the cover. So I popped them loose and was able to gain a 1/4 inch or so. Masked around the area and painted them gloss right in the bumper.

It can be done ...just a pain in the ass
