Here’s a picture of behind of my 2018.

I unfortunately don’t have the part # off the sticker of the dash itself but if I go back in for any reason I will let you know. I do have the multiple pages of gauges and the oil temperature gauge however if that helps.

So did you have to cut anything out on yours?

Granted not the greatest pic but it looks identical. Is the plastic set further back on the 18s?

So did you swap in the digital cluster into your 18? If so, anything to be made aware of other than what has already been posted in the FAQ on page 1 of this thread for the 2018 owner’s? Did you have to buy anything other than the cluster? Thx!

On the 18's I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have to replace the SCCM since its already spec'd to your vehicle. I suspect you would only have to purchase the cluster, and the appropriate steering wheel switches to navigate the digital menus and then the OBD Link. I know on my 17 I had to buy 3 switches, as it relocated the switches for track selection from right to left and also the lower right one was replaced as it adds the settings and Pony button that are specific for the digital cluster.

I just bought the cluster, surround, and the 2 buttons for the right side of the steering wheel. Nothing else necessary or different from the rest of the write up.

So has anyone attempted this swap in a GT350? I am curious to see what issues arise/if any of the 18 code (magnaride, exhaust valves) work in the 350.

Well for sure ur redline will be wrong, but other than that you will probably run into coding issues because all of the codes used for this were taken off 2018 models that have either the 5.0 or eco-boost, But there is no 18 GT 350 that you can get proper codes from

Correct that the redline would be wrong but that is not to big of a deal (I mean we are talking about only 250rpm that would not be displayed). I am mostly curious about whether or not if you coded it for an 18 5.0 that it would work with the 350 systems. My suspicion is that Ford took alot of the 350 code and used it for the GT so things like the exhaust valves and magnaride could possibly work without issue.

Digitally displayed gets past that issue. Same with RPM. (unless it simply does not read above that?)

In other news, received the surround trim today thanks to CXMoney. Looking forward to completing the install tonight. Never was able to get an answer on what’s different behind the 2018 dash so that it doesn’t require hacking up the plastic. What did everyone use? Dremel? Sawzall?
