it has an engine!
Another model to pull people away from buying german cars. We definitely need that. I dont know why they made the ss have 20s or craptastic supercars though.

No way it keeps the 3500 price tag from the last model. These forged wheels and 6 piston pots will be pricey. I'll tell you what though, those rims are sexy.
And Recaro's too are in that price. I figure $6-7K for this 1LE option.

1LE looks nice.

I like the black with the black hood. That thing looks good! Must be the stance and little add ons but this looks way better to me than the standard SS.

I think it will hang if not beat a gt350 around the road course and be under 40k.

A base SS M6 starts at 37,500. The MRC alone is a $1,500 option on the SS.

You think MRC, 6 Pot brakes, wider wheels and tires, E-Diff, HUD, PDR and Recaros are all only going to come in at $2,500?

This is going to be closer to, if not above, a $5,000 option package.

I suspect a 1SS with the 1LE package will be about $42,000.

my guess is $5,995. I am glad I didn't wait though. I like all the goodies on my 2SS too much.

Edit: I am getting those wheels.

I really hope they're not 3 grand though haha.
Very true. Not sure how GM prices their wheels. Ford stuff is stupid expensive, directly through Ford.

Curious what those wheels will weigh, too. Hopefully low 20's. They will look good on your car with the color of it.

And they're offering it on the V6 too! This great for V6 buyers and those that can't afford the SS or simply want a great handling performance car! This swaying me away from a V6 Stang since Ford won't do jack with them anymore, unfortunately.

Definitely is a great time to be an enthusiast with amazing options nowadays!
I agree here. That has always been my complaint in the past 20 years. V6 cars and 4cyl before that always had the most basic passenger suspension on the cars.

The LT 1LE is less than 3,500 pounds. It's gonna be an awesome car to drive.

Agreed! Hopefully some one makes a replica at about a third the cost.

With the recaros ..8 grand seems likely...

Awesome package with just the go fast goodies...

Money well spent.

Should give the gt350 a good run for its money on the track.

I can afford the 1LE, but I can't afford the GT350. I hope Ford is able to create a Track Pack for the GT by the time I'm ready to purchase.

It literally has no chance against the R haha. But I do think that this 1LE is going to kill ZL1s and be very close to the Z28.
And people think the GTPP has the performance to match the SS, but the SS seems like all it needs to compete with the regular gt350 is those wheels and tires.

Time will tell I guess.
