Rephrasing the below
17' Base means 16 Track
17' electronic means 16 Track adding the big-screen with navi (with recaros)
17' convenient means 16 Track adding the big-screen with navi and heated and cooled seats (non recaros).

All models have the coolers and the magneride
Base price increased from 50K to 56.5K

If you wanted the big screen in 16 your base price was 57K now in 17 its 60K

FORD essentially valued the Coolers at 3K

17' base is the same as 16' track
17' electronic means 16' track adding the big-screen with navi
17' convenient means 16' tech adding the coolers and suspensions

I was going through the same thought process as yours, but it only lasted for a few minutes as I asked myself "it's a damn sports car and I want all the sport-car related options"...regardless if i use them or not.
