2015 & New Edge Similarities

Not sure if this has been brought up before but does the 2015 look like a Modernized New Edge Mustang? To me it does...it has some similarities. What do you think?

I always felt that the s550 looks more like the sn95 than the s197.

The 03-04 terminators and saleens were my dream cars growing up. The 05-09 pushed me away from mustangs. The 10-14 brought me back, and the s550 has me locked back in!

It's a New Edge with the dimensions of the S197 and a pinch of Evo concept for flair. Oh, and light years better interior. It bodes well for the S550 as the New Edge is one of the best aging Mustangs since the early 70s.

If you take that grille and flip the top half upside down and the bottom half upside down, then put them back together, it really would be similar.

It's reasonable to see how you could draw some similarities between the two, like the rough blueprints of certain design elements are there.

Although you can tell its a Mustang (mostly due to the tail lights), I see more resemblance to British coupes like the Vantage or XKR than to any prior Mustang.

I'd be interested to see the hood on the S550 slope down more toward the front like the New Edge or the Vantage
