Lets put it this way. Design sometimes repeats it self. Look at the new f150 is just as boxy as the old 90s f150. But the early 2000 f150 was more rounded in shape not alot of boxy corners. Now look just as boxy with acouple extra body lines. It happens.
I hear you,I was hoping for a more futuristic look like Taurus/Fusion but with a distinctly Mustang vibe.

You never know this might be just a throw off. Just to see what people say on forums and such like now.

Not this late in the game.

I suspect the finish will improve, but that's about it.

The gap between the center console and steering column does look a little odd, although I guess it would increase driver knee room. I do like the way the current console flows into the steering column, but I'll reserve final judgement until we see the whole thing, in production trim :)

I do like the centre stack though, very cool.

So these were taken from what looks like inside the passenger door, with someone sitting in the driver seat with their hands off the wheel?
Hmmm
Anyway... its awesome to have some new pics to chew on and I like what I see!

I like that the center stack has more variation in height than the previous. The 11-13 was nearly flat. The controls are raised and the center area has more shape. I also see the edge of round center dash vents vs the rectangular ones.
Again, really liking the toggle switches!

The big fat padded C-pillar... there to cover a big u-channel and hatch seal? Padding?
Or is the unibody just seriously beefed up there vs the S197?
Whats with what looks like lumpiness in the headliner? Again, padding? Is the top of the rear window atypically shaped?

Lol yea definitely Ford approved pics.

Hopefully, this means that they are ready to start showing more of the car. I am a little surprised they started with the interior though.

I agree with others that the steering wheel block and that gap is a little off looking but we can't be sure this is the final final of what it will look like. That center console is quite nice though.

Not Ford approved, but the person driving the car approved.

Really disappointed that they are still using all that damn cheap plastic on the interior. I'm ripping mine out day 1 and will make carbon fiber replacement pieces :)

You think a Ford test driver is stupid enough to approve it without Ford directly or indirectly allowing these pics?

Doubt it. They must have been ready (and clearly willing) to show it off.

So basically an anthrax letter with the senders return address on it.
Sure.

If they figure out who was driving, they may be looking for a new job.
