I would think it will be pretty close to the little models they have out. The other colors seem to have matched up on the real cars so far.

I really wish I could make it to Detroit for the public showing. I doubt they will have more than 1-2 cars at any other show until NY maybe.

For anyone planning to attend to the Detroit show, the colors that will be available for the public show are below. Unfortunately, we were told that no one will be allowed inside the cars.

Competition Orange
Triple Yellow
Magnetic
Race Red

- Guard was gone after the first day, on its way to the Portland Auto Show (2/6-2/9)
- Black will also not be in Detroit anymore.
- Deep Impact Blue will be at the Houston Auto Show (1/22-1/26).

We're trying to get a full list of dates and auto show locations that the 2015 Mustang will make an appearance. We'll post it up here and will begin to fill in the site calendar with future events so be sure to check that.

Do you know if the black model will be at the DC auto show?

Word on the street is that it will be at The Washington D.C. Auto Show on Jan. 23 to Feb. 2 so worst case I just need to drive a little further down the highway to see it in person.

The Boston show starts tomorrow, do you have any idea if one of the cars will be there? I noticed the magnetic 5.0 vert from the NYC unveiling was not in detroit. Have my fingers crossed but dont expect to see it.

Not 100% but it looks like it may not be at Boston. There are only so many of these preproduction vehicles to go around and it looks like the New England show may have cut too close to Detroit. We're still trying to secure the auto show schedule but probably not before tomorrow.

The CO car had not yet arrived in Detroit during the press days, unfortunately. There's a lot of shuffling going on with the vehicles at the moment and to Ford's credit they went to great lengths to show as many colors as possible. We certainly didn't expect to see 5. You're right about the Magnetic vert -- the one in NY was a 5.0 and the one in Detroit was the I4.

Thanks for the info. i'll be at the public show this weekend tho im disappointed that black and guard wont be there. Also sucks they won't let anyone inside the cars. I've seen enough pics now, I want to see how it feels to sit in one of them.

JarStang, could you add the Canadian International Autoshow (Feb 14-23) to the calendar and try to capture any Mustang info for it also?

Also confirmed is the Montreal auto show. Jan.17-26 . Don't know which version of the 2014 Mustang we'll get but hoping to see a GT coupe.
