I'm coming from AWD cars where burnouts were a bit LOL, so excuse my ignorance when I ask how is this performed with a manual transmission car? What gear should the car be in? How do you keep it from stalling out?

The brake is held by this function, all you do is stick it in first and let the clutch go. It will keep it held for 15 seconds so you can do a nice smokey burnout!

I remember reading somewhere that a set of stock tires will last through 18 linelocks.
