Bear with me I'm being lazy. When you enable line lock, the front brakes are automatically held firm so your foot never needs to touch the brake pedal? I thought it just set all bias to the front brakes and disabled the rear but you still needed to get on the brake pedal like you would normally do a burnout.

No, the line lock will hold the front brakes down completely so you do not have to hit them again. Just like any aftermarket line lock this dose the same function, it is just factory equipped.

I tried mine for the first time a couple days a go....I very surprised at how much & how fast the smoke came pouring out! The Pirelli's must have a pretty soft compound.

It costs $40 per burnout. According to Ford, 20 burnouts will run a complete set of threads.

My question was "tongue-in-cheek" - :D

I took my '13GT to the dealer to get fresh tires. I got fresh tires but they were attached to a '15.

The line-lock was the deal sealer :lol::lol:

Forgive me if this is a dumb question. Is "Line Lock" only on the 5.0? And would it even serve its purpose in an eco, automatic?
Damn, I hope I don't get slammed for asking this.....HA

When it comes time to put a new set of tires on the Mustang....gonna line lock it & smoke the back tires until they pop (will post a video too!). Do on the motorcycle all the time...makes it easier to remove!
