There is four spots under the rocker that has nuts welded to the inside perfectly placed for jacking pads. BMR sells a jacking bar that goes the full length of the rocker and bolts to these points makes it easy to jack up the car and putting the jack stands at each end.

I made aluminum blocks that bolt in place and works perfect with my hoist.

I like your Blocks better than the BMR jacking Bar...Would you be willing to produce/sell set's or pass on the specs & close up pictures, so I could take to a shop to have a set made?

Where is the absolute best place to put the stands. I'll be installing my magnaflow exhaust on my ecoboost soon and I don't want to die..... Or hurt the car....

This is what I have and it doesn't even scratch or mar the paint at the pinch welds. The ONLY thing I use when jacking my car up.

I'm very curious about this too.

Any one have pictures of how their car was on stands?

I've never been able to get a car on Ramps without them just sliding forward.
Never had any issues getting any of my three vehicles on to the cheap walmart ramps. I just place them on the garage floor and drive up. For $40, I don't see the need for more expensive/complicated solutions. Jacking under the diff probably won't do any harm but why bother when you can just drive up on to ramps? For installing a cat-back or changing oil, it works perfectly and is less trouble than using a jack. The only reason to jack under the diff would be if you needed both left and right sides up on stands at the same time with the wheels off. I've never needed that so far.

it has an engine!
Ive always used front control arms or rear diffs. Even the trans member/bar whatever. Never had issues. I personally don't like ramps.

I'll be going to Walmart to for some ramps . Which ones do you recommend for catback install?

Assuming you don't have the BMR jacking rail, the best places to put stands are the four jacking points described in the manual (just the two rear ones for installing an exhaust). The problem then is.. where do place the floor jack? You could use the diff, opinion is divided on whether that is safe or not. Or you could just use ramps and avoid the jack/stands altogether. Many people have installed their cat-back this way.

The reason I love them so much is they DO NOT scratch or mar the paint at the pinch weld site. The pinch welds and the underside of your car are safe from harm and it keeps the car looking like a showroom virgin!

The ZL1 jackpads are great. I use them to a little fore or aft of the factory jack point and place the stand right at the factory jack point. Works pretty good and feels safe having the stands where they're supposed to be.
