The OP is in Louisiana. Temp today was in the 50's.Stock Pirellis suck in the cold temps this has been known for awhile now.
I just don't think thats true at all from my experience with the Z rated P Zeros. And it doesnt even get too cold here, so my entire critique is even just from rain. The Z rated P zeros get sh* traction in the rain. Its not the least bit stable and I have to watch myself. Cant imagine how bad they would be in ice or snow. The few times I tried to drive it in snow/ ice it was badically gripping the wheel for dear life and I aint a cautious driver, but holy hell. Now this time around Im getting the all season P zeros because im not getting the Performance Pack but if I were I wouldnt drive those for a minute in the winter. Get winter tires.Nothing wrong with normal driving on stock Pirellis in cold weather. Just let them heat up normally and drive like you are suppose too.
AND very rainy. The OP is in Louisiana. Temp today was in the 50's.
So I was just on a road trip to a Church convention and hydroplaned and went head on in the wall. Needless to say I'm very thankful to God me and my friend were completely okay without a scratch, although I'm sad about my car![]()

Yeah. For his sake I hope it's totaled, I doubt it will be. Some time on a frame straightener, if necessary, and some new panels/parts will put it back on the road.I don't think that totals a $40K car. You can do a lot of fixing for $25K.
