it all becomes relative when you compare the distances that the average american drives per year vs the average european. Over here in Germany, everything is so close together that you rarely have to drive more than 10 miles to get everywhere you need to go. THe US can be totally different if you live in a remote area.I suppose there is no point wasting money if you don't want to but I am amazed at how many of you guys in the US have bought the 2.3.
I thought that Ford only built it with the rest of the world in mind especially in Europe with everything set against you if one buys a big engined car.
With your petrol at about $2 I would be buying the biggest engine possible if I lived over there.
In the UK petrol is about $8 a gallon btw but I'm still going 5.0.
Mind you my current daily a 1998 e36 only gets 19mpg in London traffic and my departed Marquis only got 12mpg. Guess the Mustang won't be such a shock to me lol
