Sorry to hear about your dog Bob we were regular visitors to Pride with our old boy Leroy. Wonderful team of vets and we were under the care of the lovely Caroline. You can’t get better care.

Can’t help with the oil never had to top up but I sympathise dealing with the Stoneacre service team my first service was a farce. Even though it was booked in advance they couldn’t find the oil filter.

i put 5-30 ecoboost labeled oil in mine it really doesn't matter what you put in as long as it meats the ford "rating" which alot of oils do.

Actually the 5W-30 oil you should be using on your 5.0 is the lower viscosity one that meets WSS-M2C913D. Otherwise you can use oil that meets WSS-M2C945A (5W-20). Engine oil that meets WSS-M2C946A (for ecoboost) is slightly higher viscosity.

i prefer 30 over 20 always have because i beat on the engines a bit more that little extra works better when beating it at higher temps
