'18 s550 taillights

They look......99% the same. I can't imagine paying to swap them out.

$1700 EACH. Yes, yes - on eBay, you can get it for like $400 ish. But when insurance is paying, their not shopping for the best price.

Pfft, that's too high, just got my estimate back from the shop and it was only $1293.13 for the driver headlight.

I can't see swapping for the 18 taillights unless you had a buddy that was interested just to be different though.

Wow, what a colossal fail for Ford QA.

In following Mustang forums for years, people have received Mustangs were the front seat upholstery doesn't match the rear seats. The left bucket upholstery color doesn't match the right bucket. The trim on the left side of the Mustang doesn't match the right side. Wheels don't match.

We all make mistakes, but how do these get all the way to customers? :frusty:

I believe someone posted images of a 2018 shipped with a 17's tails by mistake, so that would be a YES.

Yeah but it is a one of one shipped from the factory that way, so it is more collectible...

Not sure if there's been a definitive YES on this yet, but I can confirm it's a direct bolt-in and plug & play. Can't account for BLIS or any newer tech being a hurdle, but I don't believe it is. A coworker of mine and I swapped '15 lights onto an '18 and vice versa a few months back at a measuring session and everything worked just fine and fit perfectly.
