18 GT Vortech V3 dyno #’s 😳

Carried my car to have it dyno’d yesterday and wow this little V3 is impressive.
18 GT
Kooks 1 3/4 catless headers
Bret Barber ported intake
Jn2ning dual pump fuel system
DSS 2k hp axles
DSS aluminum driveshaft
Vortech V3 w/3.6 pulley
Lund tune
This is on e85 also. The car has already went a 9.93@140 on 93. I can’t wait to see how much it picks up in the 1/4. Plan was to put the Griptec 3.33 on and make a few pulls. Should make over 900 but I don’t think my tranny would be to happy so clutches are next

How much boost were you seeing peak, how much timing and what intercooler are you running?

How much boost were you seeing peak, how much timing and what intercooler are you running?
We didn’t log the boost and that was my fault. I am guessing 10lbs or so. I am on all the stock Vortech parts that came with the kit. I will have to pull a log and see on the timing but I think around 21-22 if I remember right

Your blower is pretty much at max rpm. 3.3 is going to put you over. Not saying you can’t do it but make sure you know what you are doing

None other than he just let out of it a little early. I told him to pull it 7500-7600 as I think it would have made a little more but it’s ok

Bad ass!

heres mine, v3 blower, intake manifold, headers, exhaust, cams, injectors on 93. 8lbs of boost.
Conservative safe setup for daily driving ;)

Great numbers....and any reason you went with 1 3/4 headers over the 1 7/8...

Great numbers....and any reason you went with 1 3/4 headers over the 1 7/8...
They are the nicest set I have ever seen and I was not planning on doing any boost but that changed. These headers are Jet Hot Coat by Kooks. They have a lifetime warranty on the coating. They are very nice. Unfortunately the joint venture never got pushed and they stopped making them

Drives awesome, if ya keep it under 2500-3000 rpm drives like you have no extra ponies under the hood. With the latest upgrade of comp cams, little bit of lope and hesitation at lower rpms but can be fixed through a torque converter
