PBD treating my car right, no doubt about it.

Popularity contest in here. You can't go wrong with either.

If I have to suggest one, I'd say Lund since I've had great experiences so far.

I've tried both, to get who I wanted to recommend to people. I did not come to any definitive conclusion of one being better than the other. I do have a preference, but I'm a minority in opinions.

While they do take very different strategies to their calibrations, they both offer extensive knowledge about the setups they tune for.
Both are extremely responsive to your ticket updates. Both get your car to run very well, as long as you do your part in setting the car up how they want it to be.

Both seem to be focused on optimizing the car for the drag strip and that's all you hear about. If you have a manual you probably won't notice any thing but a more powerful engine. With an auto, S mode and the paddel shifters, are the best way to have fun on a curvy mountain road or other sanctioned racing event that requires you to turn the wheel. There are some sacrifices made for the drag strip that effect this. You can argue autos belong on the drag strip, and manuals on the curves, but I only bought one car and like to use it to do both. You can also argue the mustang is not a cornering car.

At the drag strip, the tunes are so close it will come down to suspension, tires, track prep, and driver. Among many other things out side of the calibrating.

It's just my opinion, but Lunds auto tune will do slightly better than PBDs around a road course. Neither are optimized for it. Manuals would again probably be even. Again this type of racing there is so much more to it than this one factor.

For cruising around getting groceries, there is no difference.

This applies to the 15-17, could be totally worth less for 18+.

Lund tuned 18 Whipple A10 here with no complaints. My car has performed extremely well even with the restrictions I put on Jr (stock shift points/rev limiter, etc.).

You're very welcome sir.

Let me know if we can help you out with a tune. Lund is one of the best in the biz. If you don't go Lund, stick with a well known tuner.

Feel free to hit me up with any questions.

i wanna hear more from the A10 guys on 18+ GT's. daily driver, no drag strip closer than 2+ hrs drive give or take. scca is local, i want something tuned for the street. something i can have fun with on long open road drives and back roads as well. listening to install videos of people talking about lund tuning and maybe seeing a 16+HP gain, now something is always better than nothing but that is not a big gain for the money. i know about the e85 tuning but that's another $200 and not something I'm probably gonna have on a constant basis in the tank due to milage and not being able to play with the car as much as i would like, the roads are just getting to darn crowded. thanks for listening, hope i didn't highjack the thread.

I heard some A10 guys saying they get the S mode tuned to hold the selected gear for 30 seconds and it will shift as normal to help with roll racing. Can anyone confirm both Lund and PBD do this?

Ken has been at my home track (pbir) many times. I've spoke with him a few times. He is very arrogant and thinks he is the best. But then wouldn't tune certain throttle bodies and higher boost apps. He doesnt seem like the kind to track down problems and solve them. If he can't figure it out quickly He doesn't want any part of it. He use to work with Lund and idk why not any more.

I have a 2018 gt with a stage 2 Whipple on it tuned by Lund. It’s on e85 with 16psi of boost running through it, and it’s hauling the mail!! Jon jr is seriously the best there is. Hands down! The shift points are perfect and his response time is amazing. He will let you know his input on things, as far as products to use and if he thinks something will be safe or not. That meant a lot to me, because he could easily throw all the timing and boost at something and make a great dyno number but it probably wouldn’t last long. All the fastest mustang on the planet use Lund. Beefcake, lethal performance, midnight performance, etc.... there’s a reason for that. Lund FTW
