3.3 pulley is kinda the limit. Belt start slipping. Time to trade Paxton headunit in on Vortech unit that the next size up. They will give you credit if you send your current unit in.
If one was to go JT and 8 rib that should be good on that pulley right? Or 10 rib is overkill?

I haven’t met anyone with a 10 rib but I’ve heard guys that go down to a 3.33 on the 8 rib. At that point you will be stressing the blower and stock coyote internals though

I would stick with the 3.6 or 3.48 if on e85. Any smaller is too much for blower and engine. I would not run a waste gate either. I know lots do but it seems like a bad idea to overspin the blower, create additional heat then bleed off the boost.

Sent the log last night to Lund.

I was hovering around 20 degrees of timing, so he added a couple degrees.

After I pulley down once more, I’ll get my end game numbers.

Awesome numbers, congrats.

A wastegate wont help you at all in your case. It helps gain midrange power not top end.

Curious if you have dyno numbers on 93 with the 3.6 pulley, or did you just go to E85 right away?

Trying to find someone with a similar setup so I can ballpark mine. One of these days I'll put it on a dyno.

I haven't used 93 in a while. I'm guessing it'd make around 650 though with the 3.6. Maybe a bit more. I'm sure there are a few dyno graphs out there of that setup though. Do you have headers/no cats and an intake mani?

Nope. Car is unmodified otherwise... other than resonator back exhaust.

From what I’m reading 3.3 pulley on 6 rib for Paxton is too small. What about for my Vortech v3? The head unit is smaller and the kit starts with a 3.6

I dont know if its to small? Your probably getting close to over spinning the head unit. But Lund did tell me. they wont tune the 3.3. Without running e85 full time. I stuck with the 3.6 pulley after hearing that.

If you shift at 7500 with the stock crank pulley, you'll be spinning the blower at nearly 55k rpm. The max rating for the v3 is 52k I believe, just like the 2200sl. You'll be overspinning the blower on that pulley from 7200 rpm and higher. Some people have had luck running that pulley and others haven't. It's a gamble, so it's your decision if you want to take that risk (damaging the head unit is the most probable damage you'd cause, although you'll be making some good power so your motor will be close to the limit as well).

Regardless, if you do run that pulley, E-85 is a must for those boost levels so the boost a pump is most likely not an option as you'll need a full return style fuel system.

Isn't the V3 JT the same head unit, but just oil fed instead?

It is but he just said the V3. If he has the JT trim, he can spin to 60k, which would be clear to run the 3.33 without overspinning.
