I would let him, if I could put it in transport mode.

I had traction control on. The car is very planted I have yet to break the tires loose with traction control on.

I also would tell him to put his seatbelt on.

Yes, I think that's great, what an experience. Cars are made to be driven. Ald do it nd it creates a memory that will last for ever. I wouith me in it and explaining what's what. I let both my godsons drive my GT. The younger one I went with on the ride. The older one has been driving for 16 years, let him go with his fiance. He came back after a couple of minutes, I said "what's wrong?" He replied "it scared the hell out of me, the first time I punched it the tail got loose." Lesson learned for me, even the older of the younger generation may not expect what happens with rear wheel drive. Most of them have all wheel drive (like my nephew) or front wheel drive cars.

Ok but the real question is lol can he drive a stick shift? And it’s all good that’s a great father son thing and I was blessed to have a father who trusted me and let me drive his 1976 Datsun 280Z as my car for my driving test. And let me drive it whenever I wanted to at the age of 16. And I am teaching my 16 year old daughter to drive manual transmissions.
