Hey guys,

Im looking into adding a little more power to my GT. Ive always liked steeda, and they seem to have great customer service. But I'm wondering what my best option would be.

Is there a big difference in power output between these two options?
Are there any drivability issues with either?
Which is better for an automatic?

I tried to search but came up with nothing. Warranty isn't really an issue for me, I just think the ford setup might be more reliable? Thanks for the help!

Go for Lund if warranty is not a concern. PP2 has some issues (according to this forum), but I don't know because I didn't use it first hand

If you get PP2 and want to do some more mods after, it'll be a waste of money because you'll have to go to either Lund (or any other aftermarket tuner) to get it retuned.

^ Makes an excellent point with additional mods. If this is your only real mod planned, the PP2 combo would probably do everything you want/need/expect. But you'll need a tuner when you make new changes.

I'd personally go with Lund/CAI of your choice combo.

I have the Steeda Power pack and I really like it!
Steeda tune is for 91 octane and above and the CAI is great quality.
Ford power pack limit your mods because you do not have programmer.

Thanks guys, is the TB in the PP2 worth having? Is it worth adding the TB to the steeda package?

From what I've read and talked to Steeda about, the TB is not worth installing. More problems for it's worth

Lund Racing is the way to go if you are not worried about keeping your warranty. We use them for tuning all of our shop cars here at Lethal Performance and never once had an issue. Let me know if I can help with any pricing or if you might have any questions at all on these systems, I would be glad to help out. 561-753-8105.

Just tagged you in a PP2 thread, you'll get plenty of feedback if you go through the comments.

Pretty sure the issues with the PP have been worked out, but Lund does have a better tune.

I have the PP2.

Its good, and i got it really because i knew the tune would be plenty safe. No issues at all. The throttle body isn't necessary, it does help with throttle response and has a cool closing sound when you kill the engine. (I call it the trashcan lid). Im plenty happy with it, but if i were to do this again I would have gone with a Lund tune and a aftermarket CAI with my exhaust. Just my thoughts on it.

Our Lund Racing custom tuning is the best that's available and will definitely put a smile on your face. You'll feel a lot quicker throttle response and shifting on your auto will be much better than stock.

Give us a call if there's anything we can help you with. We offer their tunes alone, on a Lund Racing ngauge or an SCT X4. 561-753-8105
