I'm not even sure where to begin, or if I really want to. That said I'm going to give it a try.You are either trolling, or trying to be passive aggressive. Not to mention, playing semantics. Because we both know that the Mustang is a Ford, even though it doesn't have a Ford oval on it. Ford doesn't need to, because nearly everyone knows of the Mustang's sporting heritage. Let alone the iconic Mach 1.
1. I'm not trolling or try to be passive aggressive. I'm not even sure how passive aggressive behavior plays out on an internet forum. But OK. let's move on. I'll go along with the Ford Blue Oval thing even thought the only people who know or care about that are Mustang owners. I'm also willing to go along with "nearly everyone knows of the Mustang's sporting heritage". I do not agree with your take on the Mach 1. I'm willing to bet that if you 10 non-enthusiasts and ask them what a Mach 1 is 9 out of 10 will not know.
I thought Ford dropped the idea about using Mach as a name for this car. It appears I am going to be wrong about this. That said it is only going to piss off Mustang enthusiasts. Those 9 of 10 people are going to care less. And I'm using "soccer mom's" and an euphemism for the general audience that I believe this car is going to be geared towards. I certainly could be wrong about this. I know as much as you do at this point. We'll all find out on 11/17.The word "Ford Mustang Mach 1" doesn't conjure up the image of "soccer mom". As such, your comments above don't back up your opinion, or theory. They only serve to mock the Mach E (Pun intended).
I'm certainly not dismissing the Mach branding, comically or otherwise. I honestly thought they weren't going to be using it. I stand corrected. Also you mentioned the minivans, not me. I have no idea why this was even brought up.Comically, You are dismissing Ford's own Mach E branding and going with a minivan vibe... I can't take you seriously anymore.
I know what mindshare is. Of course it's mindshare. But to say it is " not to sell them" is being just a tad bit short sighted.BTW, all Ford needs to do is appeal to the widest possible audience, not sell to them. It is called mindshare..!
I understand if you cannot take me seriously anymore. I'm OK with that. Let's just agree to disagree. It's simple, i will not response to your posts and you respectfully do the same.
