Seat swap 17 into 19

Would anyone happen to know if the 2017 gt premium seats will fit in a 2019 premium? I'm looking to reskin my black seats to red ones and found a pair from a 17 from a junkyard. The seat specs are the same, coupe, heated/cooled, electric, etc. but would the 17 leather fit on the 19 seats? They look like they should fit perfectly just want to make sure before I buy.

They will physically bolt in but the electronics/airbags are different IIRC. You need to mess with the wiring and possibly swap the occupancy sensor. Been covered a bunch, you should be able to turn it up with a search.

So I would keep the actual seats the same I would just be swapping the leather skins

Oh, that would probably be fine then. As far as I know the covers are the same.
