I have also ordered the Eibach 15mm kit which includes the longer wheel studs. Not to hijack but in order to install the longer studs on the rear of the S550, does the hub have to be removed or can it be done on the vehicle. Just looking with the rotor off, it appears that the hub must be removed before new studs can be installed.
Thanks for the reply. I can see there may be enough room to get the old studs out but the longer studs don't look like they will clear the spindle. I guess I will just try one and see.
I installed the Eibach 15mm kit on the front of my 2016, there is plenty of room to install the longer studs without removing the hub. there is a DIY on here that someone did the install on the rear without removing the hub, so both front and rear are doable.
