I ran 11.26 @ 126 with a soft hook (1.83 60ft) in 700 da. Headers, ~475rwhp, weight reduction.

I moved on to + Comp cams & Holley so I've got another 50hp and widened power band. I want 10s capable not only in perfect conditions.

Add torque converter and willing to be a little hard on the trans by tuning in the trans brake? - That would be maybe as much pickup as my additional 50hp.

right on. I really liked my 10 speed, so planning to stick with that and NA for a while. I considered the 16-17, but don’t think I’d really like it until boost. Not sure how far down the road I’ll do that. Probably add little extras in addition to the above here and there as the supporting mods to boost. Never had anything that fast, so it’s hard to say right now without experience. I know I don’t want the problems that come with the 900+ hp cars. Just something quick and fun.
