I don’t see any times for the 18’s yet. I know a lot has to do with the driver, but still curious on the average. We all know that the 10 spd turns some great times. I’d say on average, the 15-17 6 speeds are 12.9-13.3’s. Yes, I’m well aware that some have pulled off a 12.6 or 12.7 but that’s not the norm.
What do you guys think the Camaro will do when/if it gets a 10 auto? I also see the average 6spd SS runs a 12.5

I've driven an '18 GT 6-speed and an '18 SS 1LE 6-speed, and the Mustang sure seemed quicker to me. I haven't seen any stock dynos on the 6.2, but it looks like the 5.0 may be a little underrated at 460 and is probably more like 490-500.

Camaro is more punchy down low, Mustang pulls better up top and Mustang is also quicker once into triple digits due to the high RPM power nature of the Coyote. :)

I'm sorry, but I would have to disagree. I was actually a little disappointed in the 6.2 and was expecting more out of it. The Mustang seemed quicker down low as well and just never stopped pulling hard all the way to 7500. I drove these two cars within an hour of each other. The soft Goodyears were stickier on the Camaro so it hooked a little better, but I give the nod to the Mustang all the way through the RPM's.

switch the garbage Pirelli tires to something worth a poo, and the norm (accounting that the person can actually drive) should be high 12s or even less. Tires make a HUGE difference. I didn't realize how horrible the Pirellis were until I switch them out for these Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's. :headbang:

CD posted a 12.6 in a 2018 GT manual www.caranddriver.com/reviews/2018-ford-mustang-gt-manual-test-review.

Low 12s should be possible with stickier tires.

Friday I’ll post up my Royal Purple Raceway results. 305 Nittos in the rear with a stop the hop kit. Stock other than that with 3.15 rear.

I was impressed with the 6.2 Camaro when I rented one...still am but after driving a basic 2018 10 speed auto, I am so very impressed. This was a basic GT, traction control on or off. A sport or track mode would be even better. I would take a 6.2 Camaro over a 15-17 GT but take an 18 GT 10 speed auto over the 6.2. Looks wise, always the mustang.

Pretty sure that was an auto. OP was asking about manual. It would take a good drag radial and one helluva driver mod to get a manual into the 11's, but I guess it's possible.

I'm pretty sure I saw somewhere with some bolt ons and a tune that an n/a 2018 auto ran a high 10 sec pass.

Edit: yes, here it is.

Here is a video of Lund tuning on both an MT82 and A10. Runs are stock up to E85 Flex tune. VERY impressive results.

These cars are SAE certified...the MY18 most certainly isn't underrated. Throw and extra 25HP at the 15-18GT (manual) and you get 1/4 times exactly in-line with the 18GT and SS....which are 12.4-12.6 cars on average.
