I'm currently running a Gt350 IM with a stock TB and the other mods in my signature. I like it, but since I've decided to stay N/A I'd like to make the most of my setup.

Is it worth making this switch? Has anyone else done this and if so, what were your results?

Second part of this is, what is the optimal setup for the CJ IM? Which intake and throttle bodies? Can and should the CJ IM be ported?

Thanks guys for any input.

Watching for info on this as well.

Also, if you do pull the trigger on the CJ, I'd be interested in purchasing your GT350 intake and TB adaptor plate.

Shaun@AED made the switch from a ported GT350/unported gt350 tb to a ported CJ and a twin 65 or 67 along with a 5" CAI I believe. It picked up .2 and 2 mph but the DA was also better. I always think about this myself.

You will Need to get lowered motor mounts because the cobra jet manifold doesn’t clear the s-550 hood. The cobra jet makes more power down low and up top then any other aftermarket manifolds out there. Get it ported and you make even more power! Not to mention it looks badass to!

Is that true on clearance? I read that it won't clear the strut tower brace, but didn't know about hood clearance.

How much lower? JDM lowered my engine 3/8 of inch already when they installed my headers because of clearance issues.

It hits on the back end of the hood closer to the windshield. You have to lower the engine. I have a buddy who had to do this.

Lower the engine or cut the hood on the underside.

The stock 2018 Mustang GT IM mite be the best of both worlds. You get the great high-end power of the GT350 IM but with much more low and mid-range torque. You'd have to wait a bit before tuners are able to make the most of it with their tunes.

CJ > ALL

its been discussed and beat like a dead horse.

Yes it takes a bit of work to make it fit but its is the baddest NA intake you can get IMO.

Its proven to make more over the GT350

Hoods be damned trim it make it fit.

I cannot wait to get home and get the CJ/VMP twin 67 TB/PMAS setup on my car. I scored the package on the black Friday sales Lethal Performance had going on $1750 for the package.

That's all for about $2,000 of upgrades?.. jeez. Sometimes I ask myself why I chose this to be my hobby.

I thought CJs had drivability issues?

I've never heard of any issues with that intake and drivability. But maybe I missed it.
