Can anyone chime in as to gains with CJ over ported 18 mani on 17 GT? Car runs E85. Thinking about making the switch but unsure what I’d lose TQ wise down low. Thx for the info.

Not worth it unless you run aftermarket cams. If you run higher rpm cams and rev well past 8000, the CJ will have an advantage.

Good breakdown of all the intakes. CJ won’t fit stock hood and is not built with any kind of DD drivability in mind. Unless you plan to always drive the car at WOT and never have it below 4.5K RPM or so it just doesn’t make sense to buy it. It’s peak numbers are best you can get but they are just peak.

Unless you're revving consistently and significantly above 7500 rpm, it's also no better. See the link above.

I appreciate all the fees back guys. Thanks. I have high hopes of one day having a fast car, but at this point with all the data out there seems best route is just buy a new pp A10 car with full bolt ons, e85, and circle D for the win. Currently my car is a 17 mt82 with pmas120, 18 ported mani, full exhaust, and e85. Cars fun, but wish it was a little more competitive with the 18+ autos. Thanks again everyone, I think we’ve put the idea of swapping to rest for sure.

Running 10s NA is personal goal of mine anyways. I look at the CJ mani like this. Its THEE baddest best mani available for the coyote period.

If you can afford to run one youll never look back.

That being said ported 2018 mani comes in as next best option.

The CJ setup I had on my 2016 A6 car was on E85 and tuned by AED. 8k rpm shifts were glorious and addicting!!

I miss the CJ setup on my 16 vs my 18 A10 car.

But the 18 is bone stock so a few mods this summer will fix that.

I had a Lund tuned 14 GT w/ CJ and big mono blade 100 octane a6. My 18 with just a E tune smokes it. Not going that route again. Not worth 10-15 peak for the $$ imo.

Yeah and comparing a S197 gen1 coyote to a S550 gen3 car makes alot of sense too......
