I couldn't go on without a V8 in my life. And so... I did what I kept saying I wouldn't do. Swapped the Auto Ecoboost for a Manual V8. Base trim. No options. Same color. Only ate about $1000 on the swap, thanks to Mustangs of America X-Plan pricing wiping out the usual dealer fees.

I'll post the pics after my appointment with the dealer this afternoon.

I'll wait at least a month before I fart in it.

+1 on the manual. But I gotta ask, you only took a hit of $1000? Or the purchase price difference was $1000?

I care about infotainment
A day after making a thread about being tired of the Ecoboost hate? Lol, c'mon bruh.

On a serious, bottom line is buy what makes you happy if you can afford to.

I was close to considering an Ecoboost...better gas mileage, good power, etc. But I knew I would be in the same boat in less than a year. So I didn't even test drive the Ecoboost, went straight for the V8. Welcome to Coyote Club!

I test drove the Ecoboost before I bought my GT, just so I could say that I did and have no regrets over spending the extra $$ for the 5.0hhh.
Absolutely NO REGRETS... every morning I start it up, even the wife smiles.
