The price is amazing. I contacted my dealer about it and he said they are only getting one and the owner of the dealership already has his name on it haha.

I have called the dealer I usually work with and several others and they all say orders cant be placed yet. I'm in GA. I have never ordered a car, how does it work if you are doing a trade in? do you trade in when you order or when the car is delivered?

Order. All paperwork is done when the car is delivered, including any trade negotiations.

If the car cost so much more in Canada, why wouldn't people just come down to the states and purchase it?

i got the same sheet from my dealer with their cost as well. here is it if you want to verify its the real price. the yellow on the sheet is a highlighter for what he is going to order for me.

There are taxes/fees to import American products into Canada.

There are no import fees or taxes when say exporting a car from N-Y state to Canada ( each state is different, but N-Y doesn't have any ) , but there is an exchange rate of $1.22 for each US dollars we buy as of today.
When the looney was at par with US dollar, like in 2010 when i bought my 2011GT in Rochester N-Y, i only had to pay federal and provincial taxes just like when buying a car here.
That way i saved $6500 cdn on a $36400 car. Drove a rental there, picked up the car, drove it here and voila....

I always trade in the car when I order, because it's worth a lot more then and I'll pay less in taxes when I take delivery of the new car.

Talked to my local dealer. They have Ford Rep coming out in the next few weeks and one of the topics is new vehicle allocation. Most like the first few GT350 will have ADM but after that he said that it should go for MSRP.
